Is EVA foam eco friendly?

EVA is one of the least harmful synthetic materials. With optimal combustion, only CO2 and H2O are released, so thermal recycling can be done. The calorific value of EVA is similar to that of oil. So you can say that EVA is a rather environmentally friendly plastic.

What’s EVA foam used for?

EVA foam is used as padding in equipment for various sports such as basketball elbow/knee pad sleeves, 3/4 knee pad pants, soccer shin guards, goalkeeper suits, football pad shirts and shorts, football girdles, ski shorts and suits, rugby helmets. And also it’s typically used as a shock absorber in sports shoes.

So products made of EVA material have good softness, impact resistance, slip resistance and compression resistance. So the products which designed well-fit to provide protection against outside collision and reduce impact. Those pads could also offer sturdiness and stability to your shoulder, chest, waist, back, and elbow or knee with a snug fit. It can improve your performance with better muscle support.
